Never too old to learn...

So if you think you know it all and that you are too old to learn..you are wrong! Had a wonderful teambuilding session with the TBASA Management Committee today. Open and honest communication brings you a long way. To gel as a dynamic unit takes hard work and lots of energy...and the WILL to do it! But it really is worthwhile in the end!

You know people for many years just to find out that you don't actually know them at all. And for you to make a positive contribution to a team, you have to open your mind and sometimes operate "outside of the box". Isn't it true that when we are under pressure we almost always revert to those things that make us feel comfortable? It's not always easy to "climb" outside your comfort zone, but 99% of the time it is worth it!

I learnt again today how important perceptions are and when it matters the responsibility is on me to correct those perceptions that are unproductive and false.

Thank you to THE team for a very positive day!! I feel energized and ready to take on the challenges of managing the GREAT sport of Tenpin Bowling again!

Let us build on the foundation we set today and not lose momentum. Let us operate as a cohesive unit and make a constructive contribution to the betterment of our wonderful and diverse country through our leadership in the sporting arena!

United we stand within our differences!
